About Team SuperSlide
Team SuperSlide was established in 2004. The team started off as a bunch of guys meeting up every saturday night to drift. Some did it just for fun and some took it very seriously. Soon it was apparent that a few of us wanted to compete and actually make a name for ourselves which gave birth to a family called Team Super Slide.
We take drifting very seriously and are very passionate about what we do and with the right sponsorship/finances can prove that we are not to be taken lightly.
TeamSS is here to stay!
BDC Round 1
Team SuperSlide secure 4th place after a very close Battle. Baba fought hard and made it to the top 4. Things could have been better if the car didnt have a terrible misfire and a slipping clutch. Gavin was unable to qualify due to issues with his car.
Team Drift Competition
Team SuperSlide secure 3rd Place after a very close Battle with the Scottish Team. By far the most fun event of 2007. What a way to end the season!
Unlike normal drift competitions this one was based on Teamwork and how well the following cars mirror the movements of the lead car. The team won an invitation to drift at IDC (International Drift Championship) in Germany along with other prizes such as Vouchers for Garage-D and Xbox games. Road trip to Germany anyone?
Eurodrift Round 6
Baba qualifies 4th in the Pro Class and then goes on to top 4 position.
A clutch failure prevents baba from completing the Top 4 battle and he
has to settle for 4th place. Baba wins the Best Entertainer trophy for his efforts.
Gavin qualifies 5th and Jon qualifies 6th. Another great event.
Eurodrift Round 5
James Hudson secures 2nd place while Gavin and Baba Qualify with excellent scores.
A fun event even though it was held at a very small venue
Another victory for TeamSS at Eurodrift Round 4
James Hudson does it again! Another win by James Hudson in the Pro Class
while Gavin secures 2nd Place in Amateur class.
Baba fails to qualify due to mechanical failure.
Another great event and more sucess and trophies for the team.
Victory for TeamSS at Eurodrift Round 3
A good result for TeamSS at Eurodrift 2007 Round 4.
James Hudson wins the Pro Championship making this his 3rd win in a row.
Gavin also won Best Entertainer of the day.
Overall it was a geat event and a great success for the Team.
Welcome our newest Team Member - James Hudson
We are proud to announce the latest addition to our team, Mr James Hudson!
Some of you may have seen him at D1GP in 2006 or in EDC,
UKDC and Eurodrift this year.
He is also the winner of Eurodrift Pro 2007 Round 1 and Round 2.
We are very pleased to have him in the team and will give him all our support.
A huge welcome to James on behalf of the whole Team Superslide.
Team SuperSlide at UK Drift Championship 2007 (Round 1)
We took a trip down to Lydd for The UKDC Round 1, found to be one of the most enjoyable events we have done so far.
